Lane Keeping Assistant (Lane Assist) activation
The lane keeping system that uses the windscreen camera is enabled by software; above 60 km/h, if the lane is changed without indicating, the car intervenes in the steering and returns to the lane, keeps the car centred in the lane as long as the lane markings are visible, and asks the driver to take over the steering every 10-20 seconds when the hands are taken off the wheel.

Service / Maintenance
Permanently disabling the SOS system
The SOS emergency call function is switched off completely and the SOS / emergency call fault warnings on the display are permanently removed.
Bringing the SOS system back into service
The fault is eliminated by software and the SOS emergency call system is made to work again; this method requires more extensive coding.
Software solution for the Skoda SOS / emergency call function fault
The warning "Error: Emergency call function. Please visit a workshop.", which appears continuously on the cluster display, is eliminated by loading software onto the SOS control unit (Telematic ECU); depending on the customer's preference the system is either switched off completely or made to work again.
