Lighting
Headlights switching off with the light stalk at "0"
When the light switch is moved to the "0" position, the headlights go out completely.
Fog lights coming on with the headlight flash
When the headlights are flashed with the fog lights on, the fog lights flash as well.

An option for five indicator flashes at a single touch of the stalk is added to the iDrive exterior lighting settings.
Daytime running light control via iDrive
The option to switch the daytime running lights on and off is added to the iDrive menu.
Strobe brake light
When braking, the brake lights come on in a strobe pattern.
Changing the interior ambient colour
The bronze tone in the cabin ambient lighting is replaced with red or another desired colour.

Changing the cluster layout
The digital instrument cluster layout is changed to one of the M, Alpina or M Sport 330 options.
Tyre temperature gauge
On the tyre pressure screen, the tyre temperatures are shown alongside the pressure values.

Seat belt warning deactivation
The warning given when the seat belt is not fastened is disabled.

Closing the boot at a single press of the remote
The electric boot closes with a single press of the button on the remote.

Watching video while moving
The restriction on playing video on the screen while the car is moving is removed.
Video playback from a USB stick
Playback of video files on a USB stick is enabled in the infotainment system.
Changing the iDrive start-up animation
The iDrive start-up animation is replaced with the M or Alpina theme.
Performance
Extended sport display
The existing sport gauge is converted into an advanced sport gauge containing G-meter, power, torque, oil temperature and boost pressure information.
Audio System
Bowers & Wilkins sound presets
Bowers & Wilkins equaliser presets are loaded onto the audio system; according to the source they are effective on cars with the Harman Kardon system.

Start-Stop starting switched off or memory
The Start-Stop system is coded to come up switched off when the car starts, or to remember the last position selected.
Drive Modes
Comfort Plus drive mode
The more comfortable Comfort Plus step is added to the drive mode menu.
Sport Plus drive mode
The more dynamic Sport Plus step is added to the drive mode menu.
Default drive mode setting
The car is set to start in the selected drive mode every time it is started.
